Avoid fried food to lower cholesterol

When food is fried, it develops a very high content of saturated fat which tend to raise cholesterol levels. This can include fried chicken, fried steak, French fries, and cheese sticks. If you must eat fried food because there are no other options, divide it in half. It is better to eat less of a fried food than to give up and eat the whole thing.
